MH CET Law Registration Form 2024

The State Common Entrance Test (CET), Maharashtra, released the MH CET Law 2024 registration cum application form for the 3-year LLB programme on January 11, 2024, at portal.maharashtracet.org (MH CET Law 2024 official website).

The MH CET Law 2024 registration form for the 5-year LLB programme was released on January 18, 2024, on the same website/ portal. The application process for the 3-year LLB course has been closed. Candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria could fill out the form and submit it before the deadline. The MH CET Law entrance exams for both three-year LLB was conducted on March 12-13, 2024. The application for the 5-year LLB programme was open till April 15, 2024. The MH CET Law 2024 5-year LLB exam will be conducted on May 18, 2024.

How to apply for MH CET Law 2024?

Go to CET Cell Maharashtra’s official website, cetcell.mahacet.org.
Click on “New Registration” tab to register for the MH CET Law exam.
Already registered candidates need to click on the “Already Registered” tab and proceed with the application process.
After completing the MH CET Law registration, log in again.
Fill out the MH CET Law application form.
Upload your passport-size photo and signature.
Submit the application fee.
Save, review and then submit the application form.

MHCET 2024 Exam Day Instructions

Candidates appearing for the law entrance exam should report their allotted test centre at least an hour before the scheduled exam timings.
They should carry MHCET Law 2024 admit card (one extra copy) along with one valid photo ID proof such as Voter ID card, Driving License, Aadhaar Card or Enrollment Number, School ID/ College ID proof etc.
Candidates should also carry two ballpoint pens either in blue colour or black colour as required to mark their answers on the OMR answer sheet.
Candidates should follow the instructions mentioned on the admit card as well as the instructions by exam centre authority.
Candidates should not carry any valuables or prohibited items to their exam centres such as mobile phones, calculators, watches, earphones/ headphones, study material etc.

MH CET Law Result 2024 – Normalization of Marks

The State CET cell, Maharashtra undertakes normalization of marks in the MH CET Law 2024 exam through percentile score computation method to ensure fairness in the examination. The MH CET Law 2024 normalization of marks is a process through which scores are adjusted for candidates who appeared in the different shifts of the exam. Due to multiple factors, the difficulty level in each shift varies and to ensure fairness, the CET cell normalises scores of candidates. The normalization of scores is done to ensure candidates are neither disadvantaged nor benefitted due to differences in the difficulty level of different shifts. The percentile score of MH CET LLB will be calculated up to seven decimal places.

MH CET Final Answer Key 2024

The State CET Cell has released a detailed analysis of the objections received and resolved against the MH CET 3-year provisional answer key. The State CET cell received a total of 105 unique objections and 35 objections were approved and resolved in total. A total of 14 objections from Legal Aptitude, two from General Knowledge, nine from Logical and Analytical Reasoning and 10 from English were approved and resolved. A detailed analysis of the objections received and resolved has been given in the table below:

The Maharashtra State CET cell will release the MH CET Law merit list for both 3 and 5-year LLB soon after the declaration of results. The Maharashtra LAWCET merit list 2024 will comprise of the merit ranks of the candidates who appeared for the entrance examination.
