Master’s degree in Law (LLM) or a professional degree declared equivalent to the master’s degree in Law (LLM) by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7 – point scale ( or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) or an equivalent degree from a foreign educational institution accredited by an assessment and accreditation agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority. established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accreditation or assuring quality and standards of educational institute.

1. Written test & personal interview

1. Candidates those who have qualified in UGC-NET (including JRF)/ UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/ SLET/ GATE/ M. PHIL. For Law examination of the apex bodies in higher / technical professional education or other equivalent with valid score in validity period are exempted from NMIMS entrance test. However they have to appear for personal interview.

About Library

SDSOS library consists of the part of NMIMS R M Desai Library. Since 2014, it separately works for all the undergraduate and postgraduate courses of NMIMS’ SOL.

The library is an everlasting home for information and creativity. The library serves as a Centre place for Reference and information services. This library is a dynamic centre of services created to meet various needs; it is not just a collection of books. The library is an innovative partner in teaching, learning, and research activities. Libraries selection of resources & services is designed to help library users; Library always try to fulfil their needs by providing them with their required information.

The well-furnished and air-conditioned KPMSOL library is located on second floor of Mithibai college building. It is spread over 7000 sq. ft., with a seating capacity of 300 students. The library is divided into three sections, the Staff area, Reading Hall, and the stacking area. Library follows Open Access System and secured by a 3M security gate and CCTV cameras. Library is automated with koha library automation software. The library provides Wi-Fi facility; there is database hub for students. The library provides interlibrary loan services. The library opens on all weekdays from morning 8.30 am to evening 8. Pm.
