Symbiosis Law Admission Test or SLAT exam is conducted for BA LLB (Hons.) and BBA LLB (Hons.) offered at four law schools of SIU i.e.

Admission Process for BA/BBA LLB 2024-25

• It is mandatory to appear for SLAT (Symbiosis Law Admission Test) as a precondition for admission to SLS, Pune.
• Candidate must complete the SLAT (Symbiosis Law Admission Test) online registration process.
• Candidate must pay Rs. 2250/- as a SLAT Registration Fees.
• Candidate must complete the SLS, Pune payment Rs. 1000/- per programme (i.e. B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) or / and BB.A. LL.B. (Hons.)) while filling the SLAT registration form.
• Note: It is mandatory to Register & Pay to both SLAT & SLS Pune. A candidate registered for SLAT and not registered for SLS, Pune by paying above mentioned fees will not be eligible for the next phase of PI process at SLS, Pune.

SLS Pune BA/BBA LLB Admission :Eligibility Criteria

Qualification:

The candidate should have passed XII (10+2) examination from any recognized Board with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for S.C. /S.T. candidates). Students who have appeared for their Standard XII final examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of passing certificate at the time of the final admission.

INTAKE:

1. The total intake is 300 seats [inclusive of 180 seats of BB.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and 120 seats of B.A. LL.B. (Hons.)].
2. Separate Merit Lists for BB.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programme will be prepared and published. At the time of SLAT registration, it shall be mandatory for the candidates to clearly indicate the programme to which they wish to apply. A candidate is free to choose BOTH or ANY ONEprogramme.

Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT):

Please note that the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) 2024 will be conducted through ‘CBT Mode’.

SLAT will be conducted through CBT Mode for 60 marks (which will be scaled up to 70 marks). Structure of SLAT includes 60 questions for 1 mark each covering Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension and General Knowledge. Total duration of test SLAT is 60 minutes.

After declaration of SLAT result, SLS Pune will publish the list of shortlisted candidates who are eligible for Online PI (Personal Interaction) process.

Please Note: Name of the candidate will appear in the list of shortlisted candidates for PI only if he/she has registered and paid (programme wise fee @Rs.1000/- for each programme) to SLS, Pune while filling SLAT registration form.

Personal Interaction (PI): Personal Interaction is intended to test the Personal Attributes, inclination towards law as a career, overall personality and communication skills, extracurricular and co-curricular activities, and elementary knowledge of law of a candidate.

PI (Personal Interaction):

1. PI (Personal Interaction) – 30 Marks

Online PI of shortlisted candidates will be conducted online by panel of experts from Industry / Academia.

Slot booking: The candidate needs to book a slot for PI at SLS, Pune. Slot booking link for shortlisted candidates will be available on our website, www.symlaw.ac.in. If a slot is not booked by the candidate within stipulated date & time a forceful allotment will be done. The candidate needs to check the website of SLS, Pune for status (shortlisted or not) and for booking the slot for PI.

Uploading documents for PI: Shortlisted candidates must upload scanned copies of their original documents (STRICTLY IN PDF Format ONLY) as specified in the intimation for PI e.g. 12th Std. Mark Sheet, Provisional Passing Certificate from School/College, Caste / Category Certificate for SC/ST/KM/DA and Children/wards of Defense Personnel, photo identity proof – Aadhar Card / License / PAN Card/Passport, Certificates of Curricular, Co-curricular and Extra-curricular Activities.
